Here SHE is!

That's right folks! According to the Doctor (on two different occasions) we will be adding baby dolls and ponies to our collection of trucks and trains around our house. Riley was hoping for a sister (mostly because he knows what little brothers are all about and he doesn't want that again!) and Reed has no clue what's about to hit him! And to answer the ever so popular question of "Will we name her with a name beginning with the letter R??", the answer is "probably not". Yet, we have no clue about naming little girls so you never know what we will come up with . . . . .
All in all, things are developing well and she is still on track for a March appearance.

Finally Four!

Riley turned four earlier this month and we managed to keep his birthday condensed to 3 days . . . (party at home with family and friends, party at school and then cake with me, Jed and Reed on the day of)! He had a blast and really enjoyed having a party at our house. Our "theme" was originally going to be a bike party, but I kept a close watch on the forcast and 60% chance of rain was to be expected the day of so I made a quick switch to the ever so favorite firetruck theme. Of course it didn't rain the day of the party and we were still able to play outside. My mom came into town and brought all the "fixin's" for a fun party with her. On the actual day of Riley's birthday we had to go to OHSU for an appt for Reed, but made the most of it and stopped in at the Portland Zoo for a quick go of it! At the end of the day, the boys were exhausted and to be fair I would have to say Jed and I were too. Riley is now four and his goal this year is to play soccer (unfortunately he missed the season and will have to wait for next year).

The first pic. is baby at 11 weeks and the second pic. is baby 2 weeks later. Baby doubled in size!!! It's amazing what is going on . . . . .

It's time to dispell all the rumors, I am not getting plumper, I am indeed pregnant-

Due March 27, 2008. Reed will just be turning 2 and Riley will be 4 1/2 and Jed will be visiting the urologist to have a little "procedure"! lol. We had planned on having 3 little ones in our lives, but the timing is a year off. Oh well, you can't plan everything and is there ever a "right time" to have a baby???? Anyways, we are pulling out all the stops and finding out the sex of this one (unlike the tried and true of waiting it out like we did with the other two) which should be sometime in November, I imagine.

Fair was fun! Riley and I learned alot of things . . . . first and formost we learned that there are crazed stage mothers with any sport you do (including leadline in the fair!). I am very greatful that I have boys and we will never have to compete against these folks for Klickitat Co. fair Rodeo Queen!
Riley answered all of the questions the judge asked him and even gave a bit of his witty personality (while dressed as a firefighter the judge asked " Is this your fire truck?" and Riley said "No, it doesn't have wheels. It's my fire horse.") Blue ribbons were awarded and we all went home exhausted.
Jed was away at a training during fair, so I give great thanks to fabulous in-laws! There is absolutely no way I could have accomplished this without their help.
I am hoping to do this again next year and the scary thing is that Reed will also be ready to join in as well!!!
